  • Macromedia CourseBuilder and LearningSite

    CourseBuilder is the most popular Macromedia learning extension. It accelerates the instructional development process with more than 40 pre-scripted learning interactions, quiz and assessment templates, and the ability to track results to a learning management system.

    LearningSite provides several features you can use to assemble a training activity, such as a quiz, that combines pages from multiple sources, including Authorware, CourseBuilder, Flash Learning Interactions, and Shockwave movies.

    What feature(s) did you work on?

    CourseBuilder:
    I added support for server-side technologies (such as ASP, PHP, or ColdFusion), and then maintained and updated the product for Dreamweaver UltraDev, Dreamweaver MX, and Dreamweaver MX 2004.

    LearningSite:
    Basically, I wrote the entire thing ;-)

    MessageGroups is an extension to Skype and/or Windows Live Messenger (previously known as MSN Messenger).

    Over the years, I wrote a bunch of Macromedia/Adobe extensions. Several of them have been published at the Adobe Exchange.

    In addition to the ones at the Adobe Exchange, I wrote a TopStyle extension for Dreamweaver, and a JavaScript Panel for the Dreamweaver DRK (DevNet Resource Kit) volume 5.
